Webb-25281 and Webb-449 appear to represent the same person because: intended to be the same person based on descendants, lack of primary sources for the data, please merge and work.

I am always suspicious of double names during this time period Do we have a source for a double name or is it a matter of choosing one or the other. Thanks, Mary

continued-prior: Other reports indicate he died sometime after 1662 in Rappahanock County (original). And others indiocate death in 1692 (which makes logical sense for the references to Richmond, but indicates an unusually long life for that era)

The multiple sources on the internet seem clear that Richard Webb, b. 1603 was the son of William Micah Webb, but there are varying and conflicting mentions of the date and place of his death. Some state he died in 1625 in Richmond, Virginia, but since the City of Richmond did not exist until 1737, I presume this is Richmond County - but since Richmond County itself did not exist until 1692 - when it was formed from Rappahanock County; and Rappahanock County was formed from Lancaster County in 1656; and Lancaster was itself was formed from Northumberland county in 1651)(and Northumberland was not formed until 1645. (also note, geographically, the Rappahanock county of that time no longer exist and should not be confused with current Rappahanock county which is further west.
