I am hoping that you can help me find sources, and a last name at birth, for Sally (Unknown) Watkins (abt.1908-aft.1970)
Do you have any information at all about her life that we can add to the profile and use to try to find some more information.
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.
Looking for a specific person? Try under find and enter the name you are looking for (with dates if you have them).
It is very important to you (and to others) that you include as much bio info about each individual as possible & dont forget the need for sources. You will come to appreciate the need for this background info and sources as you continue with WikiTree.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. John Beeson WikiTree Mentor

Having done a fair amount of family research in the 1990s I now have the time to take it up again.
My family roots are in the United Kingdom, particularly the east end of London; Manchester / Oldham and the Isle of Man.
It is important to me to record the past for the benefit of the future, before memories and personalities inexorably slip away as time moves on.
So many faces, staring out at us from old photographs, have now become no more than unknown ghosts. Once it has happened, once the information is lost or forgotten, that can rarely be changed.
It needn't be so. We must record and annotate for future generations now in order to keep their past alive.
With regard to Sarah Jane Bridson I have not located a Sarah Jane. There is a Sarah Bridson b. 1860. Died 1934 married to Robert Kelly b.
1860 in Germany however I cannot personally confirm this information and rather doubt she is of the family from Douglas. Have you any more details of surrounding family? Just another thought...I have Sarah Bridson, nee Matthews b, about 1791 married Thomas Ridgeway Bridson. Your date for Sarah Jane would certainly fit into the family of their son Joseph & Margaret Woodhouse. It might be worth investigating whether or not they had a daughter Sarah Jane.

What was Sally's husband's name? It may take me a little time to reply as I am away at the moment, but I'll see what I can do for you. Rgds Peter
