Richard Webb was a Quaker. There is no record of his birth, but his marriage record shows that his parents were James and Mary Webb of Casunat, co Armagh.
He married Sarah Watson in a Quaker ceremony held in Dublin on 20 May 1794. The couple lived in Dublin, where the Quaker records show them having eight children. He died in Dublin in January 1828, aged 67, suggesting that he was born in about 1760.
