Research Notes
It is unclear why Christopher was only baptized in 1832 at age 15 (along with his siblings), or why his mother's name does not appear on the entries for any of the seven children of Christopher Webb baptized on this day. It is, however, almost definitely the Christopher who arrived with Christopher Webb and Mary as part of Sephton's Party in 1820, making is birthplace England, probably London.[4]
No evidence has been found to date to confirm that "Evans" (as is stated in some unsourced trees) was his middle name.[5]
