Biography
CLAYTON, N.M. - J.R. Webb, 79, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in Clapham. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Clayton Gospel Church with Mike Phipps, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Otto Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors.
Mr. Webb was born May 21, 1925, in Seymore, Texas, to Clara Cleta Coley and Willis P. Newton Webb. He worked for the Clayton Municipal Power Plant for more than 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Frankie K. Reifsteck of Aurora, Colo.; a son, Lloyd James Webb of Clapham and Chisana, Alaska; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
