Two John's are shown as sons: John Webb-7637 (1739-1785) is a correct son. - - The John Webb-2942 (1742-1802) of Rutherford, NC is not the son of this Meriwether 'Merry' W. Webb-655 (or, Webb-26665, a duplicate). All other children are from VA. - The John Webb-2942 is the son (I believe) of Jane Martin (1694-?) & maybe, William (?) Webb (dates UNK). *also, Mr Jim McGuire, Jr.'s county information needs to be addressed. Thanks, Bob Cole 8/15/23
Henry County, Virginia did not exist until 1777. And Henry Co. was never part of, or close to, Sussex Co. Those details in the profile's place of birth and death need revision.
Webb-655 and Webb-4625 appear to represent the same person because: This is a duplicate. Found it because many of the children were half brothers or sisters. Some had Webb-4625 and others had Webb-655 as the father. Thanks, Mary
