Biography
Lavannah "Vannie" Webber was born 1864 in Chester, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia to William and Mary Webber who were a Farming family. On September 24, 1885 in Chester, Lunenburg County by Baptist Lisence, Vannie, at the age of 21, married Cottnam Smith. Witnesses to the ceremony included George Mitchell, Mary E. Vaughan with the Reverend J.L. Kempton officiating. Vannie Smith died in 1895 and is buried in the Old Burial Ground, Chester, Nova Scotia.
