Biography
Anna Catharina's son Johannes (John) Shealy was raised by her and her second husband, Johann Georg Epplin, from age two, after his father, Johannes Schiele, died in 1712.
Marriages:
1st marriage: with Johannes Schielin.
2nd marriage: 21 Jun 1713 in Oberhausen. Johann Georg Epplin (son of former mayor=Schultheiß Johann Georg Epplin from Oberhausen) with Anna Catharina, widow of Johannis Schielin from Unterhausen.[1]
Arrival: 1752, Charles Town, South Carolina,[2] on the ship "Caledonia".
Death: After 26 Oct 1727 (birth of her son Ludwig Epplin) in Unterhausen, Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Note:
If she arrived in South Carolina in 1752, it is highly unlikely that she died in Unterhausen, Germany.
