== Biography ==

Frances Weber was born on July 13,1894 to Frances (Weiland) Weber and Ferdinand Weber in Brandsville, Howell County, Missouri.

Her birth certificate states that her father Ferdinand was 43, was born in Graz, Austria and that his occupation was that of a farmer. Her mother Frances' birthplace is listed as Danzig, Germany and that she was a housewife.

She later moved with her family as they homesteaded in Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.

She had 3 brothers: Max Weber Sr., Wolo Weber and Otto Weber.

She married Wellington Murray Gordon Sr. Wellington Gordon, who was from Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Together they had 3 daughters: Ruby Ethel (Gordon) Daniels Ruby (Gordon) Daniels, Bernice Loraine (Gordon) Pearsall Bernice (Gordon) Pearsall, Frances Marie (Gordon) Gilfillan Frances (Gordon) Gilfillan, and one son, Wellington Murray Gordon Jr. Murray Gordon Jr., while they resided in Detroit, Michigan.

She died on August 29, 1953 at age 59 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

Frances was an avid hobbyist, needle-woman and was involved in real estate. She was a very creative person. - (From information furnished by granddaughter Barbara Pearsall-Davis.)

She suffered from Parkinson's Disease later in her life among other ailments (Parkinson's did not directly cause her death.)

Causes of her death listed on Certificate of Death (see source below): Cerebral thrombosis; Generalized Arteriosclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, also an abscess. She had been at Barton Nursing Home in Detroit, Michigan for 4 days. Her usual residence was 1325 Wayburn Ave., Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

She was buried on August 31, 1953 in Forestlawn Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
