Biography
Jehiel Weed was born on 2 Mar 1739 in Stamford, Connecticut to parents Charles Weed and Susannah ___.[1][2] He married Lydia Hoyt on 2 Mar 1757 in New Canaan, Connecticut.[3] Children: Jehiel, Charles, Ira, John. He died on 8 Jun 1804 in Stamford, Connecticut.
Research Notes
Jehiel's birth date is given as both 1738 and 1739. Since his brother Enos's birth was recorded on 28 October 1737, however, it seems that 2 March 1739 would have to be the correct birthdate for Jehiel.
