"A mason by trade, but went to sea and became Mate of a whaling ship at New Bedford, Ma. About 1851/52 he went to California, Gold Fever Times, returned to New Bedford about 1858/59. in 1862 on his way to California, via Panama, he was taken sick, at Mantazas, Cuba, and died there.
Mrs Weeden was of a quiet home nature, faithful in the hightest degree in the welfare of her family.
