DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
There are two Elizabeth Weekes being confused here. The Elizabeth who married John Vause, Caleb Wheeling, and Thomas Spencer was the daughter of Abraham Weekes. The Elizabeth who married Henry Goodlow was the daughter of Francis Weekes. Francis was the son of Abraham.
Elizabeth Weeks was not the wife of Henry Goodloe. Christ Church Parish Recds, Middlesex Co., VA has all three of her marriages: John Vause III md. 19 Jun 1687, he died and she md Caleb Wheeling/Wheling aft 1687 and he died 3 Sep 1692 (Elizabeth Whelling mentioned in Abraham Weeks, her father's Will. Then, she md Thomas Spencer of King & Queen Co. on 14 Dec 1693.
Her marriage is recorded by the following source but her parents are not correctly given there. Her grandparents are given as her parents. Source: West, Edmund, Family Data Collection - Individual Records, http://search.ancestryinstitution.com.
