Obituary

Charles J. Weilant, age 80 of west Toledo passed away July 9,2000. Mr. Weilant was a tool and die maker for the former Boice Crane Co. and worked twenty five years for Powertrain retiring 1983. He was a 1940 graduate of Macomber High School an army veteran of WWII having served in central Europe. He was a member of the Black Swamp Antique Car Club.Surviving are his daughter, Deborah (Edgar) Scharp; sisters Frances Brown and Rita Zorovich; brothers Jack and James Weilant; and grandchildren, Jason,Joshua and Amanda Scharp. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Jean Weilant; brothers, Robert and Joseph, and sisters Margaret Mazziotti and Cecilia Weilant. Friends may call at the Boyer-VanWormer-Scott Funeral home,5055 Secor Rd. north of Laskey Rd.Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment Toledo Memorial Park
