Biography
Susannah, also known as Susan, was born about 1812. She married Abner Phillips. She is named in her father's will and her marriage to Abner is mentioned in the probate records on file in Surry County, North Carolina.
Susan likely died between 1860-1867, as on the 1870 Census her husband, Abner appears with three of their children, now married to Nancy Cockenham with a 3 year old daughter, Francis.
On the death certificate of her daughter, Louisa, her name was given as "Susan Welborn".
