Note from William Woessner (see comments below): "... I recently unearthed but do not see here. It comes from the Primitive Baptist Library at Carthage, Illinois and is titled as follows: Church and Family History Research Assistance for Barren County, Kentucky. Gideon Welborn, his brothers Samuel and Joshua, his father James as well as many other Welborns are listed under the heading of Skagg’s Creek/Poplar Log Church which enumerates the founding presbytery members of the church founded in July 1806 in Barren County, Kentucky. I believe it is worthy of inclusion here but do not feel comfortable doing so. As an aside, there are multiple others listed such as Jones, Smith, and Peden who all intermarried across several generations." Link

While I have basic proficiency in using familysearch.com (where other users recently destroyed Gideon Welborn’s profile while disaggregating it from a similarly named individual, I have none here but would like to share a very useful piece of documentation that I recently unearthed but do not see here. It comes from the Primitive Baptist Library at Carthage, Illinois and is titled as follows: Church and Family History Research Assistance
