Buried Coe Valley Cemetery, Monthalia, Gonzales Co., TX.

Note: Walker and Sarah are buried in the Coe Valley Cemetery, abt. 12 mi. SW of Gonzales, TX. near Monthalia, on Farm Road 466. It is located on the Lindemann Ranch property owned by the Lindemann Fertilizer Co. Nice folks, will let you on the property to visit the cemetery. The cemetery is named for Philip Alexander Hattox Coe.

The Wells section is fenced in with wrought iron which is in need of repair, and the. gate has fallen down. Sarah’s headstone is broken in half, and Walker has an 18". Oak tree growing out of his chest. Also in the Wells section are 3 of their. grandchildren, Martha Edna, Bailey Walker and Andrea, children of James Bailey. Wells Sr. who died young, before 1884. See list of his children.

Walker registered the cattle brand "T6" with the Gonzales Co. Clerk on Mar. 29,. 1854.
