Levi Wells’ will was dated 29 June 1822. It was brought to the Court of Common Pleas on 28 June 1824, after his death. In his will he listed his sons William and Isaac to split his "land and plantation" after his wife’s (Margaret) death. William to receive 1/2 the orchard, 1/2 the cleared land and 1/2 the woodland. Isaac to receive the other 1/2 including the dwelling house. Isaac also receives all his personal estate. His son Levi to receive one dollar plus what he had already received. His daughter Elizabeth Squires to receive $50.00. His daughter Margaret Milton to receive one dollar in addition to what she had already received. William and Isaac Wells were appointed executors of the estate. The will was witnessed by John Lloyd, Abner Wells, and Emmon Bailey.
