DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sarah:
Wells-1901 and Wells-180 appear to represent the same person because: See comment on Wells-1901; the daughter of Noah Wells married Foote. Noah Wells had on one daughter named Sarah, named on his profile.
Someone had confused this woman with a completely different Elizabeth WELLS who married a completely different William BULL. The other Elizabeth and William are of Orange Co., NY, and especially well-researched and well-documented. I removed the list of WRONG children from this woman and the WRONG spouse. I know no more about this woman; however, I know absolutely that she was not the mother of the previously attached children or the previously attached spouse.
Welles-512 and Wells-180 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, approx bd and same dd. Same locality. Same child. Wells-180 is better documented and must be the surviving profile.
Wells-1901 and Wells-1902 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same birth month/year, same parents and siblings. Looks like duplicates and should be merged.
Merge completed.
