I have come across a marriage of Zachariah Wells to Agness Culbertson on 7 Aug 1819 in Scott County VA which was made from other VA counties.[1]

Hi again, Michelle,

Just one more comment on the proposed merge - the middle initial. I have seen one site that suggests Zachariah "N" is a different person. It gives his parents as William (or James) and Rebecca (Shepherd) Wells, and gives a different wife and place of marriage. This doesn't mean that "H" is correct, or that there couldn't have been two Zachariah Ns. Just something to consider. I don't know what is correct. Fred

Wells-2248 and Wells-1599 appear to represent the same person because:

Hi Michelle, The other profile is an orphan, so easy merge. In a quick search, I've seen both the birth years given, as well as 1808. Unless you have better documentation than what I've seen (unsourced user-submitted trees), I'd pick a date and mark it as uncertain (i.e., "about"). Fred
