Sarah Wells was born in 1823 in St Marylebone, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom, daughter of William John Wells (1800– ) and Eleanor Allen (~1781– ).
Sarah (20) married Charles Holloway (17) (born in 1826 in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire, England; son of Robert Bent Holloway and Ann (Rickard) Holloway) on July 8, 1844 in Rotherhithe, Surrey, England[1]. Their children were:
- Sarah Ann Holloway (1846–1919)
- Charles George Holloway (1848– )
- Robert Bent Holloway (1849–1910)
- Caroline Jane Holloway (1856–1937)
- Emma Holloway (1858–1863)
- Emma Holloway (1866–1936)
