Please do not confuse this woman with Isabel Wells of Howden who married John Yeates, that woman was a daughter of Johannis "John" Wells of Howden and Jenett Lawtie of Howden.
Isabel Wells, the daughter of John Wells of Ringstead, was born about 1565.[1] She married Symon Tuttle (Tuttell, Tootell) of Ringstead, Northampton and was the mother of all five of his sons.[2]
Her parentage is confirmed by the will of her father, John Wells, which names his daughter Tuttle, son-in-law Simon Tuttle, and grandchildren Richard, Thomas, Simon and William Tuttle. The will of John Wells does not name his wife and the mother Isabel Wells remains unknown. The will of Simon Tuttle names his wife Isabel, her father John Wells, eldest son Richard, second son John Tuttle, deceased son Thomas Tuttle, and youngest son William Tuttle.[2]
In 1635, Isabel (Wells) Tuttle accompanied her sons Richard, John and William aboard the Plantar to Massachusetts.[3] This is the last known record of her and she is usually presumed to have died shortly after her arrival or even on the voyage to New England.[4]

There is a lot of extraneous and some incorrect information on this profile. A lot of the information on her father is incorrect and not needed. The information on the Tuttles certainly does not need to be on this profile. I would like to clean this up if no one objects?
This profile has many managers; if you're not actively researching this person, please consider downgrading yourself to Trusted List; you can still see changes through your family activity feed. Thanks.
Tuttle-266 is the correct John son of Isabel and Symon. Please see my note on Tuttle-323 who is not their son, and should be disconnected from them. His parents seem to be unknown.
