Timing/location suggests a possible connection between Susanna and Samuel or Isaac Wells of 1830 Madison County, Mississippi (found in 1850 in Marshall County and Leake County, respectively, and sometimes named in family trees as brothers without further citation). Susanna did name sons "Isaac" and "Samuel". Furthermore, autosomal matches for at least one descendant's family (see Shari S.) include descendants of both Isaac and Henry.
However, Susanna's son's first and middle name was "Isaac Newton", and this was a common set of first and middle names given in the many families who intermarried in Mississippi (especially Leake County) after migrating from North Carolina via Georgia. (The lines all lead back to Isaac Newton of New Hanover County there.) The naming as well as the DNA could merely be coincidence, and/or multiple connections between Susanna's family and other Wells families may be present.
Susanna appears to be buried in the Old Friendship Cemetery in Williamson County, Texas. Other burials in this cemetery include the infant child of Susanna's son Theodore, an early wife of Susanna's son Isaac Newton (died at age 14), and Susanna's adult granddaughter Susan through son Isaac Newton.
