Annie Lee Leila Wells was born about 1902 in Marion County, Florida, United States, daughter of Christopher Columbus Wells (1876–1953) and Lucy Thomas (~1885–1959).[1]
In 1910, Annie L (7) was in the household of her father, Christopher, in Cotton Plant, Marion, Florida. [1]
Annie (15) married Lollie Lewis Sherouse (25) (born on February 7, 1893 in Reddick, Marion) on November 16, 1918 in De Soto, Florida.[2]
Her husband tragically died in a work-related injury leaving her with two small children and pregnant with the third.
At some point prior to 1935, she married David Gettice Luke. They had a son.
In 1945, Annie L (42) was living in Highlands, Highlands, Florida. [3]
Annie died about September, 1969 in Winter Haven, Polk, Florida, aged 66.[4][5][6]
