John Wells was baptised on 14th November 1813 ^[1] at Sheringham, Norfolk, England, the son of William Wells & Beatrice Priest.

John Wells of the Parish of Sheringham, Single man and Phoebe Cox of the Parish of Sheringham, Single Woman were married in the Parish Church of Sheringham by Banns on 23rd January 1834 by Benj'n Pulleyne, Vicar. John signed his name & Phoebe made her mark. Witnesses were Charles West, Alice Wells, John Cox & Eleanor Bishop. ^[2]

John Wells of Lower Sheringham, died aged 33 in 1847, and was buried at Sheringham, Norfolk on 28th March 1847. ^[3]
