John M. Wells served in the CSA as a 2nd Lieutenant under Capt. F.M. Goods Co., 3rd Regt. John M. Wells was the son of John Wells and Didamia Smith. John M. Wells married (1) Martha Price on the 11 Aug 1848 in Autauga Co., Alabama. He was the son-in-law to James L. Price and Tabitha Ray. John's 2nd marriage was to Emma M. Love on the 24 Apr 1867 in Autauga Co., Alabama.
