John Wells of Orange County, New York will probated 6 Jun 1783. Mentions sons Joshua and Israel, and daughters Abigail who has son David (Swese ?) and Mary. [1]

Abstract continues with: "and other children, and nephew Richard, son of bro. Samuel Wells. Home farm, land bo't from Henry Wisner, tract in Orange Co. along the Jersey line, do. in Pochuck Seder swamp, do. in Town of Battle Burrow, 12 miles from Connecticut R., do. on Shongum Kil near Minnesink Mts., personal property. Executors sons Israel and Joshua Wells, and Henry Wesiner jun., son of Henry Wesiner, esquire. Witnesses John van Tuyl, Jacob Eichhorn and Arthor van Tuyl. [2]
