Biography

Elizabeth Wentworth was the daughter of Philip Wentworth and his Mary Clifford. Her birth date is uncertain, but her father was born in about 1424:[1][2] on that basis, it has been estimated as about 1445.

Elizabeth became the second wife of Martin de la See, son of Brian de la See of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.[1][2] Their marriage date and place are not known. They had at least three children:

George Poulson's 1840 history of Holderness adds another child, a son called John, saying that John died childless.[4] No good source has been found to confirm this.

Elizabeth's husband had married again before he signed his Will on 20 November 1494 and referred ti his then wife Margery,[5] so she died before then. She may have been buried in the parish church of Barmston, Yorkshire where her husband requested burial.[5]

"She was probably the widow of Ralph Hawley of North Langton, Lincolnshire." -from a merged profile, citing TAG 275 Vol. 69 No. 3 July 1994 (apparently)

I did post-merge cleanup but didn't know what to do with that line, since I don't have access to the publication referenced.

Unknown-285038 and Wentworth-1105 appear to represent the same person because: These seem to be intended to be the same people

why is she "At See" instead of "de la See"?
