Biography

Lydia Wentworth married Ebenezer Bean. She survived him and received a widow's pension for his service during the Revolutionary War.

Lydia and Ebenezer had the following children:

  • Ebenezer Bean, born February 9, 1783 married Deborah Downs;
  • Wentworth Bean, born December 20, 1786, married Anna Grant;
  • John Bean, born December 25, 1788, married Lois Tomberson;
  • Lydia Bean, born November 7, 1790, married James Randall;
  • Lucy Bean, born 1790-94, married Nathan Post;
  • Aaron Bean, born August 10, 1792, died 1806;
  • Hannah Bean, born March 10, 1795, married John Randall;
  • Sarah Bean, born March 23, 1797, married Benjamin Sleeper;
  • Nancy Bean, born March 2, 1799, married Alfred Blodgett;
  • Moses Bean, born September 8, 1801, married Polly Standish;
  • Oliver Bean, born February 18, 1804, married Patience Avery
