Biography
OBITUARY
MR P A. WENTWORTH
The death occurred suddenly on Wednesday of Mr Percival Ashley Wentworth, of Linwood, at the age of 41 years. He had been associated with the St. John Ambulance for more than 20 years, and at the time of his death he was Corps Superintendent. Mr Wentworth was chairman of the Linwood Avenue School Committee, pastpresident of the Amalgamated Shop Assistants’ Union, and past-preskient of the Christchurch Butchers’ Union. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and also of the United Ancient Order of Druids. Mr Wentworth is survived by his •widow, a son, and two daughters.
