  1. ) Wentworth Genealogy; page 151-154: Paul Wentworth (6), son of Elder William Wentworth, born, ca 1655; married Elizabeth ____, all efforts to ID surname have failed; died circa 1750. Was taxed in Dover, NH. in 1682; and gave a deposition (with his wife) there 21 April 1681. Received land from his father in Rollinsford, part of the Wentworth grant. From Dover he removed to Rowley, Mass. about 1681 or 1682. On 16 April 1696, conveys to brother Benjamin land in Dover, NH., given me by my honored father William Wentworth. Paul and Wife Catherine were dismissed from the Church at Rowley, Mass to the New London Church on 29 June 1707, and lives in New London until 20 June 1715 when a deed records the purchase of Norwich property of David Francis. The Norwich town council grants Paul the right to be an inhabitant on 20 Dec 1715.

He was admitted to the church in Norwich, Conn. in 1758. His wife was Elizabeth, beyond which nothing is known regarding her.

Wentworth-2590 and Wentworth-903 appear to represent the same person because: Same name and birthdate. Same sources. Wentworth Genealogy affirms place of birth to be Rowley Mass. (Father didnt go to Conn until 1707 and Norwich in 1717. Same siblings and children. Obvious duplicate.
