Biography

Martha J. Wesler, daughter of Michael M. Wesler and Esther (Lane) Wesler, was born in Dec. 1854 in Pennsylvania. She appeared on the census of 5 Nov. 1860 in the home of her parents at Conklin, Broome, New York.[1] She appeared on the census of 6 Aug. 1870 in the home of her parents at Binghamton Ward 4, Broome, New York.[2]

She married Floyd Brooks probably about 1878.

She and Floyd appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 at Binghamton, Broome, New York.[3]

She married John H. Insley on 8 Sep. 1887 at Whitney Point, Broome County, New York.[4]

She and John appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at Binghamton Ward 5, Broome, New York.[5]

Martha died in 1902 probably in Broome County and was buried at Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton, Broome County, New York. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone.[6]
