Barzilla R. West married Phoebe/PhebyTomlin of Greenwich Township, Gloucester County by Gloucester County Justice of the Peace Ephraim Miller12 Nov 1840.[1]
Barzillai wrote his will 30 August 1858 leaving his farm to wife Phoebe during her life. Witnesses were Isaac C. Dilkes, Isabell Armstrong, and George Flavell. Will was proved 11 Feb 1862 in Gloucester County court.[2]

Barzilla/Barzillai West is buried in Saint Pauls Methodist Cemetery, Paulsboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey.[3]
The death of his widow Phebe on 8 December 1884 at the age of 86 was recorded in John Eastlack's diary.[4]
