Esther West was the daughter of Peter and Patience West. She was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts September 30, 1680. She may be the Mrs. Phinney who died at Bridgewater in 1778 age 98. She married Joseph Phinney September 19, 1706 and they had six children, all born at Plympton.
