This looks like they had a son, although the location may not be correct, and it is notable that Margaret is not named in the record:
"England, Staffordshire, Church Records, 1538-1944," database with images, FamilySearch: indexed 11 Dec 2017, Thomas Sawyer, 19 Jan 1585; citing Baptism, Lapley, Staffordshire, England, United Kingdom, Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Archive Service, Stafford; FHL microfilm 7,566,678.

Clearly, though, one Thomas Sawyer did have a son Thomas Sawyer c. 1585...
