Biography
Elizzabeth Stricklin West, daughter of Rufus and Cynthia West, was born in Saint Albans, Vermont on 25 June 1810. [1][2]
She married Zalmon Olmstead about 1833 and they had three children, maria, Flora, and Myron.
"Betsey" Olmstead died in Fanklin County, Vermont on 16 October 1865.
She was buried next to Zalmon in the Greenwood Cemetery in Saint Albans. [3]
Research Note
Their daughter Flora was not included in the 1912 Olmsted genealogy; she died young and is buried near her parents.
