Sarah was born in 1828. Sarah is the daughter of Aruna (Capt. Andy) and Polly (Carley) Westcott. (Polly Carley was born c1805 in New York). After the death of Aruna, Polly (Carley) Wescott married Anson Beardsley, son of Isaac Beardsley. Sarah is the wife of Orange Beardsley. [1] She passed away in 1911.[2]
After the death of her husband in the Civil War, she took her children, with the exception of Anson and Sarah, and went to Michigan to live. [Holt]
