~ Clyde Wheeler Dies At Home ~
Clyde C Wheeler, 72, of 620 East Humble Road, was found dead at his home yesterday at approximately 4 pm by his wife. A routine inquest was scheduled for 2 pm today in Justice of the Peace Robert I Rensing's court.
Mr. Wheeler, a retired Ada, Oklahoma farmer, had lived in Hobbs for eight years. Friends said he had not been ill recently and that his death came unexpectedly.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Margie M Wheeler, two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Box of Hobbs and Mrs. Letha Russell of Texarkana, Arkansas; and two sisters, Mrs. Emmer Birdwell and Mrs. Pearl Watson, both of Ada, Oklahoma.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Friday at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Billy Barber, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. [1]
