I adopted this profile to fix a number of mistakes. As it is this profile still contains many errors. Unfortunately, this appears to come from wide spread and widely copied files on Ancestry.com. No person named Ephraim Oliver Wheeler existed; many of his supposed children are not siblings.. If anyone has good knowledge of this family, please correct.
He was the son of Jonathan Wheeler, 1683–1747, and Hannah Russell Wheeler,
1690 – unknown. [Oliver Wheeler]

Removed several of the alleged children (Betty, James, Sarah, Hannah, Randall, and Benjamin) and attached them to their correct (documented) parents, Ephraim Wheeler and Hannah (Marks). Did not remove Susannah, as I do not manage her profile and am not sure whose child she was.
Merged alleged son John into verified son Ephraim. Original GEDcom import had John b. about 1760 and d. at about 1 year old, no specific date. His birth is not recorded in vital records of either Greenwich or Acton, Mass., nor could I find him in any database at either Ancestry or FamilySearch. It appears that neither the Ephraim Wheelers nor the Oliver Wheelers had a son by this name. A couple of sources were imported with the original GEDcom - but were irrelevant (Mass. marriage records for the two sets of conflated parents) or inaccessible/questionable (Family Data Collection).
If, in the future, evidence of a son John for either of these families should come to light, a new profile with personal details and sources could then be attached to them.
Hi, Joe, I just wanted to let you know that I've removed "son" Jeremiah. I'm guessing that he was imported from Ancestry via the original GEDcom import. Anyway, I checked his date of birth against Ancestry and FamilySearch databases and found that he was son of Abraham Wheeler of Keene, New Hampshire. I've attached him to Abraham and his wife Hannah along with the supporting birth record.
On the other hand, I've added Benjamin, a documented son of this Ephraim Wheeler per Greenwich (MA) Vital Records. There is another documented son, James (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FHP7-9PT), but he has already been attached to another, "clean" profile for Ephraim Wheeler . At some point I imagine this profile might be merged with that one, so didn't want to create a duplicate James.
I couldn't find any birth record for John or Susannah. There was no birth date or birthplace to go by for John, but using the DOB given for Susannah, I searched Ancestry and FamilySearch databases for a birth record. No hits, and I couldn't find anything that would identify her as daughter of either Oliver and Abigail (Woods) Wheeler or Ephraim and Hannah (Marks) Wheeler.
Anyway, thank you for adopting this confusing, conflated profile. I know it's not easy.
