Lydia Wheeler was born May 5, 1694 at Concord, Massachusetts, daughter of Timothy and Lydia (Wheeler) Wheeler. [1][2]
She married at Concord, on Apr. 24, 1713, Joshua Brooks who was born at Concord on Oct. 14, 1688, son of Noah and Dorothy (Potter) Brooks. He was the first deacon of that name in the Lincoln Church. [3][2]
She died June 25, 1750 age 56 [2][4] and is buried at the Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, Massachusetts. Her inscription reads:
Here Lies ye Body of Mrs Lydia Brooks Wife to Mr Joshua Brooks Who Departed This Life June the 25th 1759 Aged ...[5]
After her death Joshua married second the widow Mary (Munroe) Wheeler, on June 4, 1751. He died June 26, 1768 age 79 at Lincoln, Massachusetts. [3]
