Biography

Lydia Wheeler, daughter of Timothy and Abigail (Munroe) Wheeler, was born at Concord, Massachusetts on October 5, 1724 and died there on August 30, 1802. She married June 17, 1746, Josiah Merriam, born at Concord on February 13, 1726/7, son of Joseph and Dorothy (Brooks) Merriam. He died April 23, 1809. [1] [2] [3]

Her husband Josiah, yeoman of Concord, wrote his will on February 19, 1799 and on June 14, 1809, son Joseph was granted Administration. [4] In it he left bequests to:

  • daughter Sarah Wheeler
  • daughter Elizabeth Hall
  • grand daughter Anna Hoar [4]
