Wheeler-11109 and Wheeler-540 do not represent the same person because: There is no information in -11109 to support a merge except the same name and a close birth year.

Wheeler-11109 and Wheeler-540 appear to represent the same person because: Both represent the father of Oliver Wheeler. Wheeler-540 is more robustly sourced, thus more certain of his birth date, nevertheless this profile should be enhanced with additional source references if possible.

Wheeler-11109 and Wheeler-540 are not ready to be merged because: Considering the dates are quite different, and there is nothing else on the -11109 profile, I don't see that they are the same. Neither profile has any sources; FindAGrave is not a source, and in any event the headstone there is for a John not a Jonathan. The dates roughly line up, but the burial place seems suspect for someone who died in Bolton, MA. More sources are required.

You should have reviewed the history of the Oliver Wheeler-2735 profile before rejecting the merge of the 2 Jonathans, both of which were his father. The Oliver Wheeler profile is a product of a merge. When the redundant profile was constructed, it was connected to the -11109 profile as his father. Oliver's original profile had the -540 profile has his father. I disagree with your comment that neither of the two profiles are supported by sources. You may not like the -540 profile, but it's way better than the -11109 profile, which has nothing to support it. I'm re-proposing the merge now. In the event that you might reject the merge again, the -11109 profile will remain a waif....in perpetuity.

Wheeler-12578 and Wheeler-540 appear to represent the same person because: Hannah (Russell) Wheeler was wife of both these men; they are same person.
