His will is dated 26 November 1788 and proved on 5 April 1790 in Stratford. He mentions his wife Deborah, his brothers, Ephraim Wheeler, and Samuel Wheeler, his daughters, Mary Ann Wheeler, and an unnamed Wheeler.[1]
In 1790, his estate was represented as insolvent. His inventory was recorded on 2 August 1790.[2]
In 1791, her dower from her husband's estate was set out to her. The rest of the real estate was to be sold.[3]
