George Ann Wheeler was the youngest of James Henry and Elizabeth Wayne Wheeler's children.
She came to Bell County, Texas to care for the wife of Tom Keeney. After the death of Viola Keeney, George Ann married Tom, who had seven children. Then Tom and George Ann had 3 children. George Ann and Tom sent for Elizabeth Wheeler still in Tennessee to come to Texas. She and Laura moved to Bell County, Texas. It is probable that Wm Worley and Mary Jane and their families came about the same time. Much of the information about Wlm. Worley, John C., Mary Jane, Laura, and George Ann Keeney came from a granddaughter of the Keeneys, Doris Ludwig of San Marcus, Texas.
