David Wheeler was born December 26, 1707 at Concord, Massachusetts, son of Edward and Sarah (Meriam) Wheeler. [1][2]
He married at Bedford, Massachusetts on December 27, 1733, Sarah Merriam, who was born April 1, 1713, daughter Samuel and Sarah (Wheeler) Meriam. [3][4][5][2]
He was a farmer, weaver, and Deacon of the church from 1766 until his death. [4]
At the age of 68, he participated in the Concord Fight, marching out at the Lexington Alarm on April 19, 1775. [2][4] He was also on the Committee of Correspondance. [6]
He died on March 24, 1784 at Concord. [1]The week previous he had been pruning trees in the apple orchard and cut his wrist with a hatchet and died from complications of his injury. [7] He is buried at the South Burying Place in Concord. [8]
Ephraim born December 11, 1734; died Sept. 25, 1809; married Sarah Haywood November 27, 1766. [1][2][7][4]
Sarah born January 31 1736; married first David Vose of Milton July 9, 1754 [1][9] ; married second ___ Harlow/Harlan. [2][4]
