First-hand family knowledge. Knox was my great uncle. Uncle Knox never married and spent some time off (possibly working for the FBI) before returning to Bradley County Arkansas and living with his mother at the home place. Later, after Great Grandma Wheeler passed away, Uncle Knox lived alone. He had a few cows on the 80 acres there in North Bradley County and had the misfortune to be struck by a car while carrying hay across the road to the cows. The accident resulted in a permanent limp but was not life threatening. Uncle Knox had served in the Korean War and in the end I remember going with my grandmother (his sister) to pick him up at the Veterans hospital in Little Rock after cancer treatment.
