Biography
Tom Wheeler was born in 1845 at Oxford in Oxfordshire. He was the son of Thomas Wheeler and his wife Charlotte, born Charlotte Tovey. [1] [2]
In 1851 Tom Wheeler was living in Kew Road in Richmond in Surrey with his parents Thomas and Charlotte and their other children. His age was given as 6, implying a birth date in 1844 or 1845. His birthplace was given as Oxford. He was at school. [2]
The family emigrated to the United States before 1860.
