Biography

Parney Wheelock was born January 20, 1808, the daughter of Abel Wheelock and Parney Parker of Canaan Mountain, Kings County, Nova Scotia^{[1] [2]}

On 31 March 1829, she married James Barteaux, the son of Charles Barteaux and Mary Robinson in Nictaux, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia; and they had children, including:

1. Letitia Salome
2. Harriet Ann
3. Helen
4. Parney
5. Samuel, born circa 1837, who died in 1924^[3]
6. Ezekiel Masters, born July 10, 1838, who died in 1921^[4]
7. Lucinda Jane
8. James Maynard
9. Emily Jane
10. Laleah Sophia
11. William Burton

Parney died May 30, 1875^[5]
