Biography
Levi was born 20 May 1786 in Massachusetts. He was the son of Levi Wheelock and Waitstill.
Levi married Betsy Parmenter in 1842 in Sheldon, New York.[1]
Probate information
Names a brother Artemas, residing somewhere in the Northeastern part of the state (if living), William Bishop of Lockport, Niagara, Noah Bishop, Marsden Bishop, Vilo Bishop, Levi Bishop, supposed to live somewhere in the state of Michigan, children of Harriet Bishop deceased sister.
Petition for administration for the Estate of Levi Wheelock. late of Sheldon, Wyoming, NY in 1849 by his widow Betsy Wheelock.
Research Notes
Its not clear the relationship between Levi and Alexander Wheelock. According to Alexander's records in the census and the poorhouse, his parents were from Ireland and he was born at sea. He was present at Levi's marriage to Betsy Parmenter, and he later lived with her after Levi's death. But, he isn't mentioned in Levi's probate, and his wife was executrix of the estate and clearly knew of Alexander's existance. Possibly he was an adopted son of Levi's and had already received his inheritance from his father.

I've done some additional research. If you look on the 1855 NY State Census (link in Susan Wheelock Lawrence's profile) Susan's sister Waitsee Wheelock is in the same profile. [Wheelock-647 | Artemus Wheelock] had daughters Susan and Waitsell the correct age. Just waiting for feedback before proposing a merge.
