His first marriage was to Eva Nave on 5 December 1816, Wythe, Virginia.[1]Eva and Henry had one child, Abram Whisman in 1817. Around the time of Abram's birth, Eva passed away.
Henry married Mary King on 28 Oct 1820 Wythe County, Virginia.[2] They would have 7 children.
Apparently Mary passed away prior to 1850 and is no longer mentioned in records with the family. In 1850 Henry is living in Smyth County with 3 of his children; Mary, Calvin and Andrew.[3]
