Her first marriage was to her cousin, Thomas Whisman, who died in 1796.
On 27 November 1801 Christena married Mathias Painter and he died in 1802.
Her third marriage was to John Mauck on 28 July 1806, in Shenandoah County, Virginia. No children were born to this marriage. In the Fall of 1811, John and Christena emigrated to Harrison County, Indiana, where John established the first regular ferry service on the Ohio River between Kentucky and Harrison County.

Christena died 18 November 1836 in Harrison County, Indiana. She is buried in the Old Crossroads Cemetery north of Mauckport, Indiana. Find A Grave has a photo of her headstone.[1]
